Introuduction BBS 3 Year Program
KIST-CM (KIST College of Mangagement) has also provided the provision of Quality Education for Commerce students at Bachelor Level for last six years. Being affiliated to Tribhuvan University, it offers the BBS course under TU education system with a very affordable fee structure. Hence, this program provokes students to be competent, skilful and overall knowledgeable in different sectors of business comprising tourism, marketing, banking, business, etc. Elective course in BBS III year, imports enough room for core and functional knowledge and skill in students’ interest. The programme is running in the morning shift.
Eligibility for Admission
- Students must have successfully completed the PCL or 10+2 in business/commerce or an equivalent from a Higher Secondary School Board or Tribhuvan University, or from any other University/Board recognized to T.U. or they must have studied mathematics or economics as a full paper at the PCL or 10+2.
- Students must have studied English as a full paper at the PC level or 10+2 programme.
- Students must have secured the minimum marks at the PC level or 10+2 programme as prescribed by the faculty Board or the campus concerned.
- Students must satisfy any other entry requirements or criteria including the entrance test as prescribed by the Faculty Board or the campus.
ADMISSION CRITERIA
The objective of the admission policy is to sort out students on a competition basis. A student, seeking admission to the BBS programme should apply in the prescribed form for the admission test, within the time specified, along with a non refundable prescribed fee. The applicant should enclose the applications form with attested copies of: Certificates, Equivalence, transfer and character certificates, two passport-size photographs.
Applicants will be entailed to sit for an admission test (CMAT) designed to judge their abilities and aptitude for the programme. Admission test (CMAT) will be held in different campuses as arranged by the FOM of TU. The admission test includes area like :
1. Verbal ability 2. Quantitative ability 3. Business & economics
4. Logical reasoning 5. General awareness
Final selection for admission will be based on the applicant’s previous academic records and marks obtained in the admission test. Candidates, selected for admission will have to produce original certificates/testimonial for all examinations passed at the time of admission.
ATTENDANCE, EVALUATION & GRADING SYSTEM
The final evaluation of students is done through the Annual Examination conducted by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Tribhuvan University. However, for qualifying to appear in the annual examinations, students must meet the following requirements.
- The students must have a minimum of 70 percent attendance of the classes actually held.
- No students will be allowed to appear in the second year final examinations without first appear in the first year final examination.
The grading system in the annual examinations is as follows:
Third Division 35 - 44.9% First Division 60 - 74.9%
Second Division 45 - 59.9% Distinction 75 - above%
Fee Structurs for Science Program
KIST is non profit-making institute; therefore, the fee collected from the students is used to provide quality education to the students.

Rules & Regulations
- No student will be allowed leave on any ground, what so ever for more than 7 days in a term. Leave application must be submitted in Advance.
- 85% Attendance is mandatory.
- Out passes :- Only in case of emergency, student will be allowed to leave the campus with permission from the principal.
- Gum :- Gum chewing, smoking is strictly prohibited in the campus premises or in the classroom.
- Tests and Exam :- There will be unit tests and terminal examinations in one academic year. The marks of each unit test will be 20 terms exam of 80 marks.
- Students must appear for all exams.
- Must be dressed in KIST Uniform.
- Student must maintain strict discipline.
